The Maggiolina range all have a fibreglass shell for the roof and floor and use ‘Dralon’ fabric for the flexible side walls. The ‘Dralon’ fabric  from Bayer Textiles is naturally breathable whilst waterproof and will never need any dressing to maintain the waterproof characteristic. The fabric is guaranteed for use in temperatures from -30°C to +70°C. Should the fibreglass be damaged, it is easily repaired. All models offer a low wind drag coefficient and low weight resulting in little change in the vehicles performance and handling.

All of these models use a simple winding mechanism to raise the roof horizontally enabling the unit to be ready for use or packed away in under one minute. All models mount to suitable roof bars and can be simply unbolted and removed from the vehicle for storage during non camping periods.

The mounting ladder and normal bedding can all be left inside the unit for travelling so that as soon as the camper is erected it is ready for use and there is no need to spend time pitching a tent for a short stop. All models are equipped with interior lights, mounting ladders, high density foam mattress and pillows. The Maggiolina range all provide front and rear windows, wide entry doors, with fly screens and storm flaps that can be guyed out to allow cross flow ventilation even in rainy conditions.
